TV is MIA

We ordered an 85 inch TV for a job site. 2 months later it is not here. They used AM Trucking (worst company on planet) to ship it. Buysquad keeps telling us to call AM Trucking. AM Trucking just keeps telling us it is in transit with no eta for over a month. No updates on their shipping site. Dispatch wont say anything more than its in transit. We are about to get fined by the general contractor for not having this item. We located another tv and called buy squad to cancel. They said they would call back on 2 occasions about this and they have not. I also sent 2 e mails now and still no response to get this cancelled. No one can give me answers and no one is helping or responding. The item has been in transit for over a month now from colorado to chicago. Helen Keller could have driven this TV here faster. Did I mention this is the 2nd tv they shipped because the first one was broken.

Bait and Switch

I ordered a Samsung TV from Buy Squad because they had a great price online. They called and explained to me I had ordered the Commercial Package which did not include a list of things like a TV stand.

They said I'd probably prefer the Residential Package which included the TV stand etc. Of course the residential package increases their price by $150-250. I asked for this in writing and of course have not received it. It's a scam.

Take your business elsewhere.

Not sure why you have to type 100 words so now I'm just typing for fun so I can post this review. Here's some more words that you don't need to read.

I recently purchased a 65 inch Samsung Smart TV model number UN65H6350 that was advertised on their website for 999. They instead sent me a broke TV model number UN65H6300.

This is NOT the TV I ordered. I called Samsung to get help with fixing the smart feature problem of updating the software and they could not fix it.

This TV has software and hardware issues and it may not be covered under warranty due to the fact that this TV is SUPER old and the wrong model number that was actually delivered to me. I would NEVER purchase anything from this company ever again and I will make sure the world knows about their sorry business practice.

Buy Squad - Good Price, Good Service

Before I purchase my new Samsung 65" 3d HDTV I did a lot of research regarding online companies and their reviews. After careful consideration I chose Buy Squad because they have the best price.

Even though there were numerous bad reviews, by using my credit card I felt secure that if I did not receive the correct item, I could return and charge back to the company. I am happy to say that my worries were unnecessary. After purchasing online I called Buy Squad as instructed to confirm my order. I spoke with a nice gentlemen who informed me the t.v.

was in stock and since I ordered "White Glove" service I should receive it in about 7-10 days. Well 4 days later I receive a call from the shipper that my t.v. had arrived. It came in an incredibly sturdy shipping box and was exactly the t.v.

I ordered and was indeed NEW! I am very pleased with my purchase and the service from Buy Squad.

And if you checked the IP address of this San Diego so-called "purchaser", it would.most likely be NY, where Buy Squad is even though they aree registered in Poetland, Oregon. They are probably also the owners of Joeav, tvsuperstores, and biznable, and since they don't have thick Russian accents (maybe the other guys do who don't answer calls), they may be part of those old style "fell od the truck" people. Since there is no longer an Italian mob, thry cam be anything from Russian to Albanian, considering the stuff they sell have no warranties feom the manufacturers even though all new items come with at least a 1 year manufacturer's warranty.

Sold me a 2014 Samsung TV that was suppose to be brand new.

I needed service on the TV within the 1 year Samsung warranty and Samsung stated my TV only had a 3 month warranty because it was a REFURBISHED TV.

I paid top dollar for a supposedly brand new TV only to find out it was refurbished.

After calling Buysquad and informing them the TV they sold me was refurbished, they stated it is considered refurbished because I bought a 2014 TV in August of 2015 and that Samsung doesn't want hold onto warranty's that long, a flat out lie because I called Samsung myself and verified that if I bought a new 2014 TV in 2015 I would still get the 1 year Samsung warranty.

Avoid Buy Squad At All Costs

They have lower prices than anyone online but there is a reason and its not worth trying to buy from them. They have no customer service, try to tack on hidden charges, and lie about everything they can. They cant even get CS agents who can talk slow enough to understand when they speak. I finally canceled my order and paid more money to buy elsewhere. I still had to dispute the charge on my credit card anyways. Should have just listened and done that in the first place. Beware! Buy somewhere else! Not worth dealing with these crooks! Be smart and buy elsewhere!

Buy Squad....Bad Reviews......Good Result.

4/5 Stars: Im very surprised that there were many negative reviews for this company. To my surprise everything went well. i bought my very cheap tv from this company after it showed up on a google search for 65" tv's. When i bought it I didnt receive it on time so i had to call the company so they could re-ship it, when i called they made me buy insurance (i was displeased with that), after they shipped it, i googled the company and saw many bad reviews and soon i wanted to cancel my item. But i waited and it came a week later in a large re-used looking box. I opened my tv and set everything up, to my surprise nothing was wrong with it and everything worked perfectly, all in all it was still cheaper from them (even with the insurance) than buying it anywhere else. I am pleased with this buy, but i was worried because of the reviews, and i felt their requirement of insurance, and having to call in to send it out seemed sketchy. I would give this 4/5 stars, but given the reviews I wouldn't buy from them again.

Purchased a TV and a blu ray player speaker package. One day later got an email saying to call. I called and they said the TV is commercial grade not residential. It will be $140 extra for residential. I could have bought the TV at Costco for that price. Never received the blu ray player speaker package. Called over 10 times asking when they were going to ship it and just got 10 Lies. (Oh it has shipped you'll get it in a couple days) (Oh it is on backorder) (Oh it shipped two weeks ago check your door) (Lie after Lie after Lie) Nasty dirty people. Nothing but the devil's workers cheating and lying people out of there money.

Buy Squad - Samsung Un65Js8500Fxza 65-Inch Smart Tv Review from Fullerton, California

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I placed an order for the top of the line Samsung 65" Tv UN65JS8500. I was super excited and looking forward to get my TV within a few days. Well that never happened, what I did received was an email asking me to call their customer service line @ (503-207-****) and confirm my shipping address. Well I did and they confirmed all my information and then out of nowhere the guy tells me "so I noticed you ordered the COMMERCIAL edition" and I said that according to the model # this is the same model # as the one from the Samsung site, they guy just continued to argue and he began to describe the differences and suggested I UPGRADE to the residential edition for an additional $420 dollars!! This place is nothing But bunch of frauds and scammers. I wish I had read some of the ratings and feedback that has been posted by other buyers that had the same scenario happened to them. Please stay away from this place and take your money and business else where.

Very strange scam of theirs. Commercial grade uses more robust components and should cost more, not less.

If there's no stand included, I'd just order one from Samsung parts or wall mount, for far less than their 'upgrade cost to residential'.

As an example, LG true commercial grade carries a 2 yr. warranty, not 1.

Scammed me - sold refurb as new

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
BuySquad sold me a Samsung TV and passed it off as new but when it went out after 9 months Samsung advised me that it was out of warranty as it was a refurbished unit and was not new. It cost me $336.77 to have a Samsung tech put in a new motherboard. When I contacted BuySquad, they denied that it was a refurbished unit so Samsung sent me proof of tracking, when it was first bought at Costco, when it was brought back in and refurbished, etc. There was nothing on their website showing it was a refurbished unit as I would've never bought it, not matter how good the price. I only buy new TV's and electronics - not refurbished ones. When I received the product, there was nothing on the invoice, box, packing slip or anywhere showing it was a refurbished unit. I contacted buysquad and so far they haven't reimbursed me for the repair of $336.77 or the $200 refund I've asked for since it was a refurb and not a new TV. If I don't receive the $536.77 from BuySquad by the end of this month, I'm going after them with BBB, the Federal Trade Commission, and Oregon Consumer Affairs. In addition, I have a law firm through my company who has an office in Portland so I will be pursuing them legally as well. These guys are obviously scammers!

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR----> DO NOT BUY anything from Buy Squad. Honestly, after researching on this company, I feel so *** to fall for their "low price" ;0( I ordered a Samsung TV (March 22, 2015). I called them to check on my order on (March 24, 2015), and was asked to pay for shipping insurance. I paid for shipping insurance (approx $55) TV arrived last night (April 1, 2015) TV is not in a manufacturer box, but in a white box. There is a stripped bar-code on the TV stand. This TV is definitely not a brand new TV. During my order, I clearly told them to NOT sell me any refurbished or open item. I only wanted to buy a new TV, yet was given this open or refurbished item. I have purchased another Samsung TV from Amazon in the past, and based on that experience, I can guarantee that this item from Buy Squad is not a brand new TV. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR----> DO NOT BUY anything from Buy Squad.

I bought a 70" Sony Bravia 8/29/2014. When the T V was delivered the box had damage and the serial number had been marked over with a magic marker.

I'm sure it was not a new T V after a year and a half the T V went black and there is nothing I ca do about it. I will try to look up The Oregon Attorney General to complain.

I've owned Sony products all my life and this is the first one to break down before ten years.

After 1 year your manufacture warranty had expired even if Buy Squad was an authorized Sony dealer. I steer clear of dot com businesses like Buy Squad because they come across as shady and often the manufacturers (Sony, Samsung) have not authorized to sell their stuff.

That means NO MANUFACTURE WARRANTY. You might as well buy it off eBay.

I confirmed my TV from Buysquad with Samsung is Fully BRAND NEW!!!!!

Kayla Marie Armstrong

Wow!

Other than the barcode issue, is the condition of the tv "new"?

Guest

When have you ever bought anything new and the barcode numbers were tampered with? The reason the serial numbers have been tampered with is when you call Sony or Samsung they will ask where you bought your TV.

When you tell them Buy Squad they will quickly tell you no warranty if BS isn't authorized to sell their products. If you can't read the serial numbers it's harder to identify for the manufacture.

Ordered a 60" smart TV. When it arrived the screen was totally broken. I called and sent a picture of the cracked screen. They had fedex pick it up and return it. It's been 2 weeks, 6 phone calls and nothing. Today is Friday and I called Customer service the message is " Sorry we are closed our office hours are M-F, 8-4 PST. Call back during regular office hours. This was at 11:00am CST. Really?

Scam in Upgrade cost for TV and Late Shipping

Purchased a Samsung 60"" TV on March 29th of this year. As of April 15th still not received. Never and Email or communication from company stating delay. Never a tracking number emailed to me. Today I called and was on hold for 10 minutes. Guy who answers phone tells me it will be delivered Tuesday April 19th! Meanwhile they took my money on March 30th. Over 20 days for delivery without communication! Also, they tried to tell me I had ordered a commercial version of the TV and the residential version was what I needed for an additional $169. Their upselling charges are all over the map. Its' just a ploy to get more money. As far as I am concerned I will never deal with them again. The TV has not been delivered as of this writing and I pray it is not smashed or damaged. Wish I had read this site BEFORE I had purchased the TV.

Buy Squad want is not a honest internet vendor

I ordered Sharp 70" TV 3/7/2016 from Buy Squad website for a Sharp TV for $1,199 total shipping included. Credit was charged immediately, and I also received an order confirmation email with the price. Every thing looks normal, just like another internet purchase that I made. Then in the email Buy Squad asked me to call them in order to "verify and confirm your order details". I though it is just a security verification call these day. So I called them right away. In the call, the Buy Squad told me that I have to purchase either extend warranty or pay $89 "shipping insurance" otherwise they will not sale the TV to me. I told them I have received the confirmation with the price of $1,199. And I do NOT want to purchase anything else. But Buy Squad told me it is a MUST. I was so anger and canceled the order. Buy Squad reminded me those NY camera mail order stores back to 1980'. Those day if you did not want to buy extract photo accessories from them, they would not sale you the price that they advertised on the magazine. This is 21th century new, I never know the company like Buy Squad still exists. I have all the documents to backup by story. Does anyone on this forum knows where I can file the complaint to the government agency?
