Buy squad is a SHAM !!!!

It has been a few years, but seeing all the reviews brought back BAD memories. Complaints to the BBB in NY and Oregon, attorney generals office in NY and Oregon and also a complaint to the FBI's internet crime division (fraud)they are still selling REFURBISHED equipment as new. I am thrilled I was able to steer multiple friends and family away from this S...Hole company. They tried to convince me that the TV was "last years " model but when I contacted Sharp they assured me their records indicated it had been sold, serviced and resold as refurbished. I have had great experiences with ABT electronics I recommend you buy there.

Buy Squad is a SCAM!!! Still have not received any type of resolution via phone and emails go unanswered.

I purchased the Samsung UN55KS8000 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV. From start to finish it took almost a month before I received my TV. There was no way to track my order on line which caused me great concern and it was then that I noticed how many people have had a problem with this company. The TV was advertised as New with free shipping and no tax. What they didn’t tell you is what the additional insurance rate would be until it was applied which for me was an additional $63.36. The box arrived in a “Factory direct online sales” box and inside that box was the TV but it was not in a new Samsung box it was just wrapped up. The TV accessories had been repackaged as well and you could tell it was not new. Once I took the TV out of the box I noticed that the TV screen has a blemish on it also indicating it is not new. I called customer service as soon as I noticed the issues and because it was Saturday the office was closed and there was no way to leave a message so I sent an email stating the problem. On Monday, late afternoon I called and talked to someone named Mark who requested me to send pictures of the problem to him so he could come up with a resolution before the end of the day. That so far has not happened. I am so pissed off that I didn’t noticed the complaints about this company before I purchased from them. The only resolution I want is a full refund, which I doubt will happen.

I do most of my shopping online and have never had a problem. At the time of this purchase that TV was on sale on numerous other sites for just a little bit more or shipping was charged so I didn't think much about it.

I saw a slightly lower price and free shipping. I do agree if it's too good to be true it usually is but like I said they were not much lower then the competitors. I think that is why this company has been able to do a lot of shady business.

The main lesson I learned from this is when ordering online make sure to check out the company "REALLY" good before ordering. If I had seen these comments for other people first I would have stayed away.

Questionable practices - they never answer customer service calls

I found the TV I wanted online, then shopped around for the best deal. I was brought into BuySquad based on their no tax and free shipping offer that made it the best deal I could find. I figured as long as I got the TV I wanted, the seller was not the most important factor since they all had the same TV. The buying process seemed like any other online purchase until I read my order confirmation email several days later. I discovered that I had to call them in order to confirm my purchase, which I thought was odd. When I spoke to the sales person on the phone, it was a strange interaction in which he told me that they didn't have that TV in stock and asked me why I wanted that particular model. After I told him that I wanted that one because it had all of the features I was looking for, he somehow found one in stock. He then confirmed the order details, told me my order total, and said it would ship in a few days. I immediately got my Order Approved email. I thought all was well. Unfortunately, it wasn't until after I verbally approved my purchase that I realized the price the salesperson informed me of was over $65 above the price listed in my order confirmation email. It was at that point that I started doing my homework about this company and was not pleased with what I found. I discovered that it's their practice of charging customers for shipping insurance, even though there is no mention of it anywhere during the ordering process or in the email confirmations. I tried calling their customer service line on multiple occasions and that just made matters worse because nobody ever answered the phone. On two occasions, during their business hours, I sat on hold for so long (30 minutes) that the system hung up on me. I also read reviews in which others had received TVs that appeared to have been used. I was also not impressed that their estimated arrival date was several weeks away when I could get it in a week or less, also with free shipping, from other vendors. Since I couldn't get in touch with them over the phone, I decided to email orders@***.com and express my desire to cancel my order and get a refund. To my surprise, I got a response that same day and several days later, I saw the refund post on my credit card. There appear to be a lot of things wrong here and would recommend avoiding this company for TV purchases.

TV is NOT new!!!!! DO NOT BUY

They advertised a new TV and it is rebfurbished. The connect one cable they sent doesn't work and the TV is totally unusable. I've sent emails and left voicemails....no one calls back. The TV had scratches on the back, the TV also didn't have the manuals with it. The "Insurance fee" is just paying for shipping. They told me to not sign for the TV until I plugged it in and made sure it worked. FEDEX would not wait for me to do so. I called and they said I have up to 72 hours to refuse. I called FEDEX and they said that wasn't the case. These guys are an absolute SCAM!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY!

They lied to me sold me a used tv but pawned it off as new. Not only that it broke after 2 months. The money i was going to spend on a new tv I will now put towards a class-action lawsuit. Since they went out of there way to totally scam me and stick me with the bill. I will spend everyday I don't care what I have going on birthdays funerals. There won't be a day I don't stop until there lives are ruined!!!!!! and out of business!!!!!! The back and forth with them is insane any real company out there does not operate like this on any level. BUY A TV FROM THEM ITS YOUR OWN DEATH SENTENCE.

Do not purchase anything from buysquad!!!! They're very unprofessional and not on point. I purchased a 70 inch flatscreen from them and paid for the express delivery which should've had the tv in my hands in 5 to 7 business days. Not the case as 2 weeks went buy and no tv. I called them and AM trucking which is the delivery company they use and it was a back and forth battle. Finally i called buysquad and told them to *** with it give me a refund, went to bestbuy paid and extra $300 more than buysquad had the tv for but it was worth it because there were no headaches. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BUY SQUAD!!!!!!! Thankyou bestbuy.

The whole company is scam read carefully!!!!!

I bought a Samsung TV that broke is less than 7 months. Samsung alerts me from the reference number its used TV but buy squad says otherwise.

After a few weeks of back and forth I started to do some research. This guy mark who's real name is Albert Marcus is registered under a fake company AMSG Enterprise. BUY SQAUD IS SAID TO BE LOCATED IN OREGON ITS NOT!! ITS ACTUALLY A COMPNAY OF ABOUT 3 - 5 PEOPLE BASED OUT OF NY.

DO NOT BUY A TV FROM THEM, IF YOU HAVE CALL THE BETTER BUSINESS BURRIOR RIGHT AWAY. I AM I THE PROCESS OF BUILDING A CASE AGAINST THEM PLEASE CONTACT ME 917 745 ****.

Ordered a 55" new TV from them with free shipping. Then after the order they added additional charge for required insurance. TV arrived but box looked like it had been opened before. Original staple holes next to new staples and blue tape over the seam where you would open the box. Got inside and pulled the TV out. The foam cover is usually draped over the tv from the factory. This one was taped all over like a wrapped Christmas gift. Got the TV on the stand and discovered huge dents all over the back of the rear cover. I called Mark and he asked me to send pics. While taking the pics I discovered that the serial number on the outside of the box was NOT the same as the serial number on the TV. He immediately said that the carrier (FED -X) must have done some hanky panky. He issued me a return label. He would not refund until the TV arrived. It arrived and I called about the credit card refund. Mark said it was taken care of. It never showed. I called again the following week and he said he would issue the credit as soon as we got off the phone. A day later and again no credit. So no money and no TV. So I issued a chargeback through my bank and sent them all the conversation emails and documents and tracking numbers. The Federal Trade Commission and the Oregon Attorney General should be notified about this company. This is the definition of consumer fraud! After finding these reviews it is obvious that these people are selling used, floor models, refurbished or defective TV's AS NEW on a regular basis. On top of it their free shipping isn't free... which you don't find out about until after the purchase is made. RUN AWAY....IT'S A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered a TV that they show in stock. Their E mail asks me to call them. They say Sorry item not really in stock but we can sell you this..this .. etc. There website suckers you to ordering hard to find items, then they tell you that the item you chose is not available and try to sell you with something that you did not order. Very poor practice. There customer sales representative dumps all responsibility onto the website managers. Will not be going there ever again. They did not bill my credit card but the whole go around has cost me a week lost.

No online confirmation... Claimed tv was new in Samsung box, however arrived in "Factory direct online sales" box. Model number doesn't match tv I bought, and when you call service you're on hold for 30 mins+. Sometimes they eventually answer, but if you leave voicemails they'll go unreturned. Pay the extra $100 and avoid this company... horrible experience start to finish.

I bought 11 TV's for a commercial space. Two weeks go by and I call to see where the TV's are. They said that they don't have the TV's I wanted to order. I explained that I bought these TV's on their website so if they don't have those TV's then why would they be on the website?? They "did some research" and were able to find the TV's but I'd have to pay over $900 for "shipping insurance"... If I didn't HAVE to have these TV's asap then I would have canceled the order. The TV's arrived and almost half of the TV's did not connect to Wifi. I called Samsung and they explained the LAN something did not work and that the TV's were not under warranty. When I call buysquad, I can't get anyone to answer. This company should be shut down.

I purchased 2 60" TV's from Buysquad.com for my new office back in February. The TV's were delivered a few weeks later and placed in my storage till the new space was ready. When We moved in, I opened both boxes to find both had the same cracks at the upper right of the screen, spidering all throughout the display. I emailed the orders@***.com email address I found on my confirmation and recieved an email back from Mark. I told him what happened he said he was contacting the shipping company right away to get this resolved. I didn't hear back from him so I emailed him for a status maybe a week later. He finally replied that he was still working on it with the shipping company. I then never heard from Mark again. After a few weeks I emailed Mark, orders@***.com, and support@***.com asking for assistance or a status. I never heard back from anyone. I started emailing every other day for a status. Months later and still haven't heard back from anyone. I even made up a new email address and emailed orders@***.com just asking for assistance with an order I had without giving any details in case they were ignoring me. Still no reply to that one either. I then called and asked for Mark but the person said he was not in yet so gave me his VM. I left him a VM and he never called back. I then called another day and tried to speak to a manager and they weren't in the office yet either so I left the person my contact info and asked for anyone buy Mark to call me back so I can try and get my issue resolved. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM ANYONE. My boss asked me to make a complaint on BBB and review sites in hopes I will get a reply that way before turning it over to our legal team. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with ANY online store. And I buy things 1-2 times a week for my 3 offices across the country. I am just hoping to get a response so i can get a refund or exchange. Highly doubt I'll hear from them again.

Buy Squad sounded too good to be true, and it was indeed the case. I found Buy Squad through Google shopping and it seemed to have the lowest price and good reviews on the site.

I bought a top of the line Samsung TV. 2 weeks later, they did not send any confirmation. I sent numerous emails and calls to no avail. They finally called after I sent an email stating that I may cancel the order if I don't hear back.

They called me and said I needed to change the model because I ordered from their "commercial" model. I said, as long as it is my UN65JS6500, that is fine. To my surprise, they added 600 dollars to the cost, and when the TV was delivered, they did not do the white glove service which I had ordered for more than 100 dollars. In addition, the TV is not what I ordered. It was the cheaper model that is being sold at Fry's for 600 dollars lower than my model.

I am appalled by their service and will never order from them again. I hope this review can help other buyers get their money's worth.
